      碳排放权交易试点是推进能源清洁低碳转型的关键政策。为研究碳交易政策对天然气消费的影响及传导机制,基于双重差分和中介效应模型展开实证分析。结果表明,碳交易政策显著促进了试点地区的天然气消费,但存在一定的滞后效应。该政策主要通过三种传导途径发挥促进作用,即天然气价格机制及其替代效应和收入效应。此外,政策效应呈现出区域及行业异质性,对东部地区的促进作用较中西部地区更为明显,对居民用气的促进作用大于非居民用气。研究结论为碳交易政策的优化推广和天然气消费的增长提供了一定的理论依据与决策参考。
英文摘要
      The pilot carbon emissions trading scheme is a crucial policy for advancing the clean and low-carbon energy transition. This study empirically analyzes the impact and transmission mechanisms of carbon trading policy on natural gas consumption, employing difference-in-differences (DID) and mediation effect models. The results indicate that the carbon trading policy significantly stimulates natural gas consumption in the pilot regions, albeit with some degree of lag. This stimulative effect is primarily driven by three transmission channels: the natural gas pricing mechanism, along with its substitution and income effects. Furthermore, the policy's impact demonstrates regional and sectoral heterogeneity. It exerts a stronger stimulating effect in the eastern region compared to the central and western regions. It also promotes residential gas consumption more than non-residential. The research findings provide theoretical support and inform decision-making regarding the optimization of carbon trading policy and the growth of natural gas consumption.
